We live in a Universe of Laws and Rules. The Universe is harmonious and precise. It does not fail, even when we think it is being though on us. One of the Universal Laws that has become the focus of attention and conversations lately, due to the huge success of the hit movie “The Secret”, is the Law of Attraction. And that is a great and important step for the evolution of mankind as a whole. The understanding and application of this Law is one essential step towards self-development.

We are indeed moving along a path of evolution, regardless of what anybody may say or think. Evolution is part of life, another Universal Law. What some fail to understand is that this evolutionary path may include some suffering. But, is suffering necessarily important or essential to our growth?

I have heard it said that “if we do not learn by love, we have to learn by pain”. Following that thought, we must assume that suffering may be a result of us not living in harmony with some important Universal Laws. It is the Universe giving us a clear message that we’re still failing somewhere.

To me the best definition of “spirituality” is: living in harmony with Universal Laws. And that way of living could bring the end of suffering and a quickening to our individual and collective growth. However, most of mankind still lacks the required knowledge and guidance to reach this goal. No wonder, we were not taught about these Laws in School, we don’t know better.

So, what should be our first goal in life, before health, abundance, power, magnetism? To me it should be learning and applying the Universal Laws that we know about. We may not know all of them, but the ones we know so far are more than enough to start with.

My definition of happiness is the same as my definition for “spirituality”; living in harmony with Universal Laws. Once we are able to reach this harmony, happiness is natural, we don’t have to search for it, and we don’t have to strive for it. It just happens.

So, start by asking yourself: “Am I living in harmony with the Universal Laws that I know, or am I just an intellectual knower?” Just reading it will not suffice, just believing or agreeing with it is not enough. We must take this seriously, as a life path. And, as any specialist in any area, we must refine our practice each and every day. The Law of Attraction, for example, is not to be used only when we are in need or distress, like most people use prayer, as a form of escape. We must be aware of it, and observe how attraction is working on our lives. Reverse attraction is a fact; it is attracting that which you do NOT want. So, the Law works regardless, and it is neutral. We are the ones who must use it correctly, pretty much like electricity, gravity and the laws of mathematics. If we are not happy, it means that we are failing to harmonize with some Universal Law.

The Law of attraction states that we attract to our lives whatever we give our attention, energy and focus to .. whether wanted or unwanted. Well… I was the latter and did not fully appreciate that I was capable of much much more.

But this friend showed me that if I was in the habit of rejecting compliments or any goodness in any form, I might have an unspoken belief that I did not deserve any of those things.

And that was when I slowly changed my mind to start accepting gratefully the goodness and abundance others showed me.

Believe in yourself. And believe that you deservce much much more than what you have now. Make this affirmation tou yourself everyday!

More importantly, be humble and accept with gratitude for the blessings that come you way. When good things come – embrace them!

Trust me, if you keep up with these activities on a daily basis, you will transform yourself into one of those people that seem to be a Law of Attraction Magnet embedded in them, attracting abundance and prosperity all the day long.

The law of attraction is universal and that is a proven fact. You will reap what you sow, that is one secret law of attraction, and you will attract those things that you either desire or don’t desire depending upon how much focus you put forth on that object.

If you have no respect for wealth, prosperity, abundance, happiness, and being healthy you will not have these things in your life. Fact is you will most likely get the opposite in your life. You will be putting the laws of attraction to work against you.

Have you ever tried doing something and told friends and family about it? What happened? Let’s use a home business for example. What happened when you first told your friends and family that you were going to start a home business or any thing for that matter that was going to be difficult to do?

They probably did what mine did to me. They either laughed, cut you down, tried to talk you out of it or they did it all. Mine tried to talk me out of it giving me the old “why not get a real job with security and benefits?” Also they said I was crazy? Please tell me any job in today’s world that is actually secure and that the company is going to look after you?

There is a reason that they do these things and it is because they can not see themselves doing it and becoming a successful person and financially independent so they can not visualize anyone they know being able to do what they themselves believe they can not do also. The sad part is that they are putting the laws of attraction to work against them.

Another thing they are afraid of risk and afraid of failing so to keep this pain out of their lives they would rather not try at all than attempt and fail. Also too if they can not be successful they do not want anyone they know to become successful either. If you were to become successful it would only remind them of there lack this is one reason why they will try to short circuit your efforts.

They want to keep you down with them so they are not constantly reminded of their own fears and constant thoughts of lack every time they see or hear about you. Now I know that not all friends and family are like this, but many are. Mine were.

It’s these types of people that are constantly disrespecting money, prosperity, wealth, and abundance and when they do these types of things they are just bringing the opposite into their lives unknowingly having the universal laws of attraction working against them

They see rich and successful people as greedy and the cause of all that is wrong in the world. They believe everything is a scam that nothing good can be real, all sales people are liars, and if it’s outside the scope of what they consider a normal 9 to 5 job then they have a closed minded to it.

However the irony of it all is these same people will go out and buy lottery tickets to try to become instantly rich!

Why is it that so many people who have won lotteries are broke just a few short years?

It’s very simple because by some really fortunate luck at beating the odds that it takes to win the lottery, they won a fortune but their ignorance caused them to lose it all.

Their ignorance being that you can only earn income only to the degree that their awareness will allow them to keep.

Huh? What exactly does that mean?

It is easy. If you are not aware that you can earn that kind of income or possess that kind of income on a daily basis, which in this case the lottery its worth millions of dollars, most likely you are going to lose it all and the statistics show this to be true.

From my observations the vast majority of people who win these lotteries are the very type of people that have always been cutting down other people that were already successful or on their way to success in their chosen field.

I personally know seven people that were very closed minded about money, they were the very type of people I have been describing and through some tragic events they inherited or won in lawsuits millions of dollars and each one of them except one lost it all within a span of 3 years. One went through $2 million dollars in 18 months!

Also these people did not EARN their fortunes. They did WORK for it. When you have not worked for something to appreciate it, you have not experienced the gratitude of receiving all what you have worked for and built that connection, a mental connection to your fortune and success that you have worked so hard for.

These people always had the mindset of money does not flow their way. The law of attraction for them was one of lack, so when they had millions of dollars suddenly thrusted upon them they were still in the mindset of lack and the laws of attraction went to work to make sure they had lack in their lives.

Another thing is as you grow more successful and your income continues to soar, you become aware of your earnings and the status of the person you have become. You grow confident and have built a self esteem that makes you feel worthy for whom you have now become. You have the mindset of prosperity.

You can visualize earning even more, you can see it, and when you can see it, you believe it and that is the awareness that will allow you to keep what you have reaped for your self. There is a right way and a wrong way on how to use the law of attraction for you.

Whether you realize it or not, the Law of Attraction is already working actively in your life right at this moment. The events, opportunities and experiences you are experiencing today were set into motion by the thoughts and actions you‘ve taken previously.

The secret to the Law of Attraction is really about realizing that this law is already active in your life and deciding that you want to deliberately attract things into your life consciously rather than leaving it to the vagaries of your subconscious. This is going to take some effort on your part and if you are trapped in a negative spiral, it is probably going to take a great deal of work to change the patterns of your thinking. You’ll need to monitor your emotions in particular, because it is your emotional state that gives you the clues to the kinds of things your thoughts are attracting to you. With practice, this monitoring will become more routine and you’ll be able to let the negative thoughts go lightly while you move your focus onto the positive.

One of the main differences between the writers of the early 20th century and those who write about the Law of Attraction today is the emphasis on just how much work you need to put into consciously working with it. Many of the new breed of writers suggest that it is easy and that merely thinking about what you want for 20 minutes a day and putting together a vision board or two will get you on the road to prosperity and abundance.

The early New Thought writers such as Wallace Wattles, on the other hand, suggest that you need to do a lot of work and must deliberately take charge of what you are attracting into your life throughout your every waking moment. In the words of Wallace Wattles, echoing a common phrase in Christian mysticism, you need to “pray without ceasing”. In my opinion, this the correct course to take. Put a lot of work into the Law of Attraction and reap the large rewards. Or put a little work into it and watch the rewards trickle into your life. It’s your decision. Reap what you sow.

Do you have all the money you desire? Are you just making ends meet living from paycheck to paycheck?

You can have a life of abundance. It can easily come to you if you know how.

Having a job I adore, a loving relationship, and the life I desire allows me to be lead through example. It enables me to show you how to attract what you desire into your life, just as I am doing in mine.

My life wasn’t always this great. I have had a lot of hard times and experienced more than my share of tragedy and heartache. It wasn’t until after my children had grown and moved away that I would discover what many other people already knew.

If you desire abundance, you must see abundance already in your life. Sound a bit ridiculous? It really isn’t. Let me explain.

In order to attract abundance, you must first have an abundance mindset. If you change your thoughts, you can change your life.

You may be thinking that you have an abundance mindset and have been focusing on more money, landing a better job, etc. Have you been thinking about having enough money to pay your bills off or get out of debt? If that has been your focus, it’s no wonder you haven’t attracted the money you desire. I’d bet you have continued to struggle with bills and incur debt. By simply placing these two negative thoughts (bills, debt) into your focus, you have subconsciously attracted more of the same types of issues/events to you.

An abundance mindset focuses on the lifestyle you would have living with abundance. Instead of thinking about the lack, focus on having plenty of money to manage all of your needs. Focus on having more that enough money for the things that you want. Perhaps one of your desires is to be able to take a vacation. Focus on taking that vacation. Feel how wonderful it would be to do the things you desire. By thinking about taking a vacation and having more than enough money for the entire trip, you are focusing on what you truly want and developing a mindset that is in harmony with your desires.

Developing an abundance mindset may not be easy at first, but with a little practice will become your normal way of thinking. You will soon begin to see little signs of abundance coming into your life.

I suggest you take note of everything you experience, no matter how small and be appreciative of it. For example, finding a penny on the sidewalk or getting a great parking space would be two examples of abundance. Having someone treat you to lunch is another. When you begin to notice and appreciate the small things in your life, it will also help place you in a more receptive and allowing mindset. Keeping an abundance or gratitude journal is a great way of reminding yourself of all the abundance in your life.

Besides, if all of us would take just a few minutes out of our day to reflect on the nice things we have experienced, we would soon realize the abundance already present in our lives. It would brighten our outlook, raise our emotions, and allow us to be more of a magnet for attracting more of the same things to us.

Having a life coach can be extremely beneficial when it comes to learning how to attract your desires – especially if they are trained in the Law of Attraction. Even Tiger Woods has a coach. There are a couple of tips that can help you attract more money into your life by using the law of attraction. Using these tips will speed up the law of attraction process in order to allow you to attract more of the green stuff, more money into your life. Here are 4 tips to help you attract more cash.

1. Give every chance you get. It’s simple, when you see a can for a nonprofit organization sitting at the counter of your local convenience store of restaurant, drop in a buck or two. When you are walking into your local super market or shopping center and see the salvation army sitting out front, be sure to drop a couple of dollars in there as well.

In fact, any chance you get to give some money, make sure you do it without any hesitation or regret or clinging to the money you are giving away. Now you don’t want to do this if all there is between you and starvation is five bucks. Make sure you take care of yourself first, however, be sure to give a few dollars any chance you get.

2. Focus on how much you would like to attract into your life and when. Visualize about and pay close attention to how much you want to attract to you and exactly when you expect it to show up in your life by. Also be sure to write it down, including the time line for when you expect it on a piece of paper.

Keep your focus on how much you want and when you want it. Keep your mind away from what you currently have, or do not have for that matter and focused completely upon how much you want and when you want it. Visualize having that money in your hand right here and right now as you spend it.

3. Avoid thoughts and emotions of lack and not having enough. As you do the above tips, be sure that you are feeling the emotions of abundance and prosperity. If you are giving away money and are scared that you won’t have enough, or thinking about how you don’t really want to give it away, your not on the right track.

Be sure to feel abundance and wealth through out your entire being as you think about the money you want. Completely avoid thinking, talking, and feeling as though you don’t currently have enough or that you are living a life of lack as though those thoughts, words, and feelings were the plague. Be sure to focus and feel and talk about everything as though you live a life of complete abundance and wealth financially.

4. Don’t limit the universe on how it will deliver. Be sure to simply focus on the money that you want and pay attention. That’s all you have to do and the universe will deliver the means to make it happen.

Many people will try to figure out how they will make the money or what they are going to do in order to get the money. If you don’t already know exactly how to align yourself with that money and allow the universe to deliver it to you, then you have to keep yourself completely open to any and all possibilities.

The moment you decide that you will get it this way or that, you begin to limit the universe and all of it’s infinite possibilities. Avoid this at all costs. Simply focus on what you want and pay attention. Eventually the universe will deliver a way for you to have exactly what you want.

You can say the affirmations, drool over the pictures, make the vision boards, read the books, attend the seminars, etc., etc. but if you don’t trust that the law of attraction will work for you, if you don’t believe you’ll get what you want, then it’s not going to happen as fast. Or as easy. Or as good.

Remember, when doubts creep in, feelings of unworthiness overwhelm, and whatever other negative thoughts and feelings crop up, the law of attraction is going to attract more of the negative and not what you want.

You’ve got to believe you can get what you want.

If you’re not familiar with the law of attraction, a good place to start is with the DVD “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne. It’s easy to follow and there’s information presented in story form so you don’t get all bogged down and hit overload.

The book and audio book are also available, if you prefer that format. However, I found for myself that the DVD works best. Somehow seeing it and hearing it makes easier to understand, makes it so much more real.

And the law of attraction is real. It’s very real. There’s no doubt about that. It’s either working for you or against you.
